James Tracy will stay fired. The conspiratorial communication professor lost his First Amendment case this afternoon.
When I wrote about Tracy last week, one commenter accused me of “bullying” and another called me a fool, concluding, “Tracy will win.”
Maybe he did.
Even though a federal jury has ruled against him, just imagine the conspiracy theories Tracy can spin now. His greatest hits are still available on his blog, called Memory Hole. He’s written about “the roles played by LBJ and the Secret Service in the assassination” of JFK, how “dangerous microwave-emitting devices” are being installed in schools to poison our children, and “there is considerable justified alarm concerning the dangers vaccines pose to human health.”
I can’t imagine any other university hiring Tracy, but freed from the shackles of the Deep State, he can now teach his awful “Culture of Conspiracy” class online and without interference.
I propose he revise his syllabus thusly. Everything in quotes is directly from his blog. I didn’t correct his poor spelling, grammar, punctuation, or writing…
WEEK 1: 9-11 was a Jewish plot, not a terrorist one
“It is now known that Dick Cheney ‘took over’ the 9/11 plot hatched by the Zionist government of Israel. … The World Trade Center Twin Towers were likely brought down–through controlled demolition.”

WEEK 6: Nazis didn’t march in Charlotte – liberals did
“Most of the alleged ‘protesters’ are in fact carpet bagger types, probably sponsored by George Soros Open Society foundations … If Soros or other financial elites wish to fund non-profits that in turn hire mercenary rioters to incite racial discontent that’s one thing. WEEK 7: Justice Scalia was murdered

WEEK 10: The Super Bowl proves the Sandy Hook massacre never happened
“Several of the first graders slain in Newtown Connecticut on December 14, 2012 are not only alive and well, but rather famously performing ‘America the Beautiful’ at Super Bowl XLVII.”
…and yes, all of this will be on the final exam.
